Hi,

In order to facilitate getting a completely bug free version of Maian Media working for j! 2/5+, please post ALL bug reports here.

This is for 2.5 users only.

Please report your bug in a single post, include all error messages, a detailed description of the problem, and any other relevant info (php version etc..)

This will be easier than trying to track bugs across many threads.

Once we have a complete list of all issues with the current version (1.5.6), i will collate these into a single report and send to Arelowo, so that he can deal with it all in the next release.

The "Save & Close" and the "Cancel" buttons in the "Add Tracks" do NOT work. This renders the plugin unusable and useless.

The plg_maiansearch.zip will not install and returns the error message JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find Joomla XML setup file

Here are some of my initial issues:

BUGS:
1.) Settings Page Save & Close doesn't close
2.) Manage Albums: Upon opening the page, 20 items are displayed, but the display # is 5


SUGGESTIONS:
1.) add a 'Cancel' Button to pages like 'Settings'
2.) On the Menu (About | Settings | Categories | Manage Albums etc..) change color/style to reflect current page

I checked some files.
It looks like there's no big change with maian 1.5.5 except the installation routines that are different with jml1.5. (that's big allready) (i changed the component 1.5.5 myself and installed it in jml2.5 and had also the same issues).
So my guess is that the 1.5.6 is not yet optimized for working with jml2.5, but Alao said he was working on it.
So have to be patient.

I will see what is wrong with the save and close. I tested this so it should work. What browser are you using Rusty?
