Acutally I meant which maian media template; but anyway if you are seeing the field
Album artwork(zipped), that is the correct field;

however there is a bug that will prevent you from selecting a zip file using the media browser.

You will need to just type in the URL to the zip there, since the media browser will not display zip files... i think something needs to be changed in the code to make that a file browser instead of an image browser.

I cant get any artwork zip to appear either. Uploaded the zips to a new folder in the website. Added the url to the artwork field. Tried buying many different times but no artwork link is supplied on the thanks download page, or in the email. I'm not too bothered though it's about the music really^^ Most people will just right-click on the album cover and save as.

I'm using the Joomla default file selector. I will probably do away with it in the future and use the same file manager as the ad new tracks.

it could be the editor, or maybe there is a filter which is preventing non image files from being displayed in the list;

Hey, ok i've tested things, and I guess I wasnt being accurate, my fault.

The artwork link does work :)

But..... the artwork link only appears on releases with more than 1 track (i.e. 2 tracks plus)

Unfortunately, I have a lot of "single-track singles", so the artwork link doesnt appear for these. Is there anyway to change it to appear for releases with only 1-track?

If not, then i'm happy just to leave it with the enlargeit option activated for users to right-click

first thing you might want to consider is simply embedding the album cover in the MP3;
that's how we do all of our tracks, and if you purchase an MP3 from Amazon or other download retailer, the album cover is usually embedded as part of the meta/id3 tags. Not only will that solve the issue of artwork, but it's only fair to properly embed all of the necessary meta into the files you are selling to make it less work for your buyers.

as far as the artwork field, i always thought of that as a vestige of the old maian media script, perhaps implemented before people were embedding artwork into the audio tracks; But in any case we always use that field for the PDF booklet download, since the albums we sell are all issued on Compact Disc, we want the buyers of the download to also be able to read the PDF version of the CD booklet.

So once you embed your album covers, you can just ignore the artwork field, and this won't affect anything, since the field will be null, there won't be a download button for that.
