Michael Joseph Jackson was a deep soul that found it hard to live in the time and place in which he was born. He was a reflection of our age and a living testament to the souls journey to understand itself. His insecurities were open for the world to see but these same flaws are what made him the great man that we all know and love.  If it wasn't for Michael mainstream music would not be where it is today. 

This man practically made MTV and that's ironic because they didn't want to play him or many black artist back then.  In a way Michael personified the racial and social divide that has existed in America and the world for quite some time. I feel that the only way he could cope with living in this dualistic world is to try and be three dimensional.  He was black and white, old yet young, reserved yet loved the spotlight and a man with feminine qualities. He was a complex soul and I have a feeling that he will be remembered centuries to come. 

People can say what they want but he was a great man and as we see he did not realize how great he was.  Every single person on this planet knows who this man is and has thought about him at least once in the last couple of days.  So rest in peace mike you deserve it you have truly made a change is this world and you will not be forgotten.
